Born 2012, Heartdancer was a graded and licensed AES Stallion, he has now been gelded, he is a compact powerhouse, creating raw power off the floor. He is a quiet, kind Stallion with an enormous amount of talent. This combined with striking looks makes him a very special horse. His sire Dakar VDL is known for his great canter, scope and type. Heartdancers dam Runiki was jumping at 1.30m; her previous foal Vodka (S. Zortin) is jumping 1.50m Internationally. Runiki is also half sister of KWPN-approved stallion Ekstein, who was a national level showjumper. Granddam Zaniki is dam of the International showjumpers Joniki and Lajos, as well as several 1.30m/1.40m jumpers. The niki-dam line is known for its many International sport horses, such as the famous Apollo ridden by Nick Skelton.

Heartdancer is currently competing in British Novice and Discovery classes, his most recent success was jumping double clear to come equal first in both his 4 year old qualifier and 4 year old final at Northcote Young Horse Championships. At Scope Festival he jumped fantastically to came 4th in the first 4 year old qualifier. He has stepped up to Newcomers confortably picking up double clears and placings. At the Welsh Masters he jumped double clear in both 5 year old qualifiers.
